I'm in your culture war corner, but I think it's a fair point. Yoga is a religious practice!
ReplyDeleteIt raises another related thing: Westerners want to pretend it isn't because everything's about money and hedonism these days. So we've corrupted it, you know? In a way the Christians are pointing back toward it being a more authentic thing.
I'm going to have to agree with the above comment. I wouldn't want kids in a public school to learn about peace and comfort through Jesus and don't really want them learning about it through Yoga either.
