This land is my land

Leave it to an Israeli politician, the country's powerful Interior minister in this case, to make the oft-denied parallel between Jewish supremacy in Israel and white supremacy in South Africa as explicit as possible:
[O]n Sunday, Israeli daily Maariv published an interview with Interior Minister Eli Yishai, in which he stated that most of the "Muslims that arrive here do not even believe that this country belongs to us, to the white man."
"I will continue the struggle until the end of my term, with no compromises," Yishai continued, stating that he would use "all the tools to expel the foreigners, until not one infiltrator remains."
Racism exists everywhere, as your liberal Zionist friend has probably already reminded you. The difference is that in the case of Israeli racism, every U.S. politician of national importance (or who wishes to be important some day) pledges their support for it. When the likes of Nancy Pelosi speak fondly of a "Jewish democratic state," they are speaking fondly of a state that values perceived tribal identity -- and supremacy -- over true democracy for all of its inhabitants.

My tip to Israeli pols, though: if you want to continue your white settler project in the Middle East, you're going to want to quit drawing attention to the fact that Israel is a white settler project in the Middle East. American politicians are fine with supporting racism and colonialism, obviously, but the more liberal-minded prefer that fact to be obscured.

So now all Jews are white? I thought Ashkenazis left Europe because they weren't white enough to be part of European nationalist projects, but wanted to try out Modernity for themselves. I recall a lot of the ones who stayed being murdered. And say what you want about the conditions Arab Jews left their homes under in 48-51, but they don't call themselves white, and they are rare in the Israeli politics and universities the u.s. supports. There might be white supremacy in Israel, but to conflate whiteness and Jewishness is antisemitic. Your analysis, which in the classic American pundit manner jumps on a sound bite from a politician, is clearly framed less in what the politician said than in your own antisemitism. To assert that all Israeli Jews are white is false and offensive.

I don't know if it's racist to assume that Israeli politicians are Jewish, but didn't God say something like "Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt." back in Exodus 23:9?

I mean, I know more about Christianity, but I think Exodus is still important to the Jewish faith, right?

You're about as dumb and ignorant as the Israeli politician you quote.
This whole move by the Israeli govt. is nothing more than an act to appease the poorest segments of society, who have borne the brunt of the economic cost of accommodating the immigrants from Africa, most of whom are illegaly in the country. By using this tragedy to propagate your worn-out propaganda, you've shown that you don't truly care about the progressive causes you claim to be.
